College Advising

Each fall, our seniors begin finalizing college applications and scholarship forms with our College Advisor, Laura Finch. The Class of 2025 has been accepted to colleges and universities across the country and earned over $5 million in scholarships. Preparation truly makes a difference.

The FAFSA opens on October 1. We strongly encourage all families to complete it as soon as possible, as some aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Before October 1, create your FSA ID, which is required to sign and submit the FAFSA. You can do this at www.fafsa.ed.gov. There is no fee to complete the FAFSA — if you are asked to pay, make sure you are on the official government website.

Families applying to private colleges may also need to complete the CSS Profile, which allows you to apply for nonfederal financial aid at nearly 400 institutions.

This process can feel overwhelming, but starting early and completing the FAFSA on or shortly after October 1 will set you up for success. Please contact Heather Axel with any questions.
